Tour des Farms

We’re hoping Eastern Bloc Cycling Club will generously help promote our upcoming event – Connecticut Tour des Farms!
Join us on Saturday, October 6th for this year's Tour des Farms bicycle ride throughout Connecticut's picturesque Northwest Hills. Tour des Farms is designed to raise awareness and funding to implement Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development's agricultural and conservation projects. Ride this scenic route, with your choice of 16 or 26 miles, during the height of fall foliage, and visit farms to buy produce, pumpkins, chocolates, and wine. Our van travels to the farms, picks up rider purchases, and delivers them back to the starting point. This fundraising celebration for Connecticut RC&D's 50th Anniversary will conclude with Pie Fest, music, and activities at the beautiful White Memorial Conservation Center. I'd forgotten this. My Oct 6th ride is cancelled so I can do the 26 miler for this.
FYI: This is the registration site for the Tour de Farms from Litchfield on Sat Oct 6th. It’s not too expensive @ $65, but it is pushing it. The 26 mile ride starts @ 9:30 so I’ll be wandering around the registration and start area by about 9:00 if you’d like to catch up with me. I hope to see some of you there.
