I'm signed up for the 160 km route for the D2R2 on August 20 and planning on camping Friday night. Anyone else signed up?

Brent, Funny you should post, as it has been on my mind for a bit of time. Anyhow, thanks! Doug and I are registered for the 160K, and are unsure if we are camping or just going up nice and early in the morning. There has been a fair amount of conversation with various folks...just a matter of who actually signs up, or waits to see what the weather will hold. I do know of others that have signed up for the 180K and 100K. Let's stay in touch...it would be great to start a group of us together!

For any curious minds...the 160K has a great percentage of dirt, about 10,000 feet of climbing and extends to greater boundaries than the other loops...MY FAVORITE...but they all offer their unique challenges and beauty! Get your 'gravel bike', cross bike or fat bike ready and come experience these beautiful roads and really fun atmosphere!

Chris Armen and I are signed up for the 180K. I will not be camping since 5 or 6 hours in my bed is better than 7 hours of tossing and turning on the ground.

I am in for the 160. Looking forward to it. Last year was a lot of fun.
