Newbie here, just got into riding and joined EBCC a month ago. I plan to "try" the 25 mile ride, the route looks fairly manageable. Anyone else doing this ride? Looking forward to meeting some of you!

Robert Carmen has a couple of 9/26 posts under Charity Rides and Group Rides, and I see that he's registered for the ride as Captain of Team Edge.

My son is Captain of fundraising Team Lightning. He and my wife Veronica are planning to go 25 miles. I'm going to try the 50-miler if the weather isn't too ugly, but may end doing 25 with them instead.

Hope to see you there on Saturday AM. Keep your fingers crossed for sunny weather.

Glad to see that there will be plenty of others in the 25-miler. Really hoping the weather holds out - I don't think it's going to be sunny, but I'll be happy if it's not raining (probably be 40* and cloudy/cold) :)

Ride organizers, sponsors and volunteers did an excellent job with this event. Participants surpassed the $50K fundraising goal.

The 50-mile route was well-marked, the sag wagon was making frequent rounds, the rest station had great PB&J and the rain held off until after the festivities.

Music and free food after the ride were awesome. We're already looking forward to next year's ride.
