Root 66 has a new venue this Saturday august 29th in Ashford, CT. I pre-rode it Wednesday and it is in excellent condition. It will be the driest Root 66 course this year. It will be fun with lots of twisty singletrack in the woods, very moderate climbs which are more 5 - 15 second efforts and has cool rock gardens which roll easy. The loop is @ 80% suingle track and designed to flow. Ashford is close to us, hope to see some EBCC green this weekend.

Ummm, yeah...so I think Pats evil weather overlord spell has found a new rider. Hope you bolted those pontoons on your bike, you'll need them.

very true, maybe I jinxed it by talkiing about it, got the mud knobs on the wheels so it'll be OK. guess I better not talk about the weather next Saturday - see you then.
