A Group Ride - fast-paced group rides leaving from Benidorm at 6:00 PM. Race Pace Rides (RP) - These are hard efforts for the fittest riders with appropriate bike skills. Riders are expected to be fully self-sufficient. If you flat, get dropped, or get lost then tough. Pace is 20+ mph with plenty of flat roads and climbing, and more climbing. Location: Benidorm Start time: 6:05pm sharp. Distance: 30-35 miles Ride Leader: TBD - from leader/co-leader IP pool

B Group Tempo Ride - leaving from Benidorm at 6:05 PM. Intensity Pace Rides (IP) - Definitely a step up in competitiveness from the Club Pace Rides. These rides are faster, with training and conditioning objectives on par with pleasure. Riders in these groups should be fit and experienced, with a high level of bike handling skills, as drafting will be required to stay with the pace lines that often form. The group will look out for one another and reform at reasonable locations. Riders are expected to be fully self-sufficient. If this is your first club ride or you’re not familiar with the area, be sure the ride leader is informed. Pace is generally 17-20 mph with plenty of flat roads and climbing. The length of the ride will average 2 to 3 hours depending on the time of year.

Early Bird Group Ride
The start time is 8:00am sharp, this means get there by 7:45. Show-N-Go format.
Early bird group ride meets in Collinsville in Canton, CT.
Click here for the details about Saturday Shop Rides.
Club Pace Rides (CP) - Rides designed for solid, experienced cyclists interested in getting a good workout and enjoying themselves. Drafting does occur at times, and some members of the group are likely to compete for the top of the hills, and maybe a good sprint finish; however, the point of the ride is still to enjoy the exercise. These rides regroup after hills, long sections ridden at slightly higher speeds, and major intersections. Riders will need a road bike, tool bag, and appropriate food and water for this ride. If this is your first club ride or you’re not familiar with the area, be sure the ride leader is informed. The pace is generally 15-18 mph with a mixture of flat roads and climbs. Typically, more climbing than a Soft Pace Ride. The length of the ride will average 2 to 4 hours depending on the day and time of year.
