The picnic this year will be held at the same location as last year,
Stuart & Laura Jensen's house,
27 Broadleaf Circle, Windsor, CT.
The ride will start at 9:00am followed by food, drink and activities starting around
12:00pm.
Rain date is September 25, 2011.
NOTE: We will post something on Thursday night if we are going
to use the rain date.
Note:
This is a pet friendly picnic. Our yard is completely fenced in, so as long
as your dog is friendly and well mannered and won't eat our cat, bring him/her.
From Rt. 189 Granby Center:
Follow Rt.189 to Rt.187 (Blue Hills Ave) like you're going to the Griffin office
center. Just after you pass the Griffin office center (on your left), take
a left on to Day Hill Road. Go about 1.5 miles, you will pass a Credit Union
on your right, take a left on to Prospect Hill Road. When you come to a rotary (about
1 mile), go straight through it, and take your next left on to Harvest Lane. Take
another left on to Broadleaf Circle. We are the sixth house on the right.
From I91North:
Take exit 38, stay right at the end of the exit and go back under I-91. A
couple of miles down the road, take a left on to Prospect Hill Road. About
1 mile take a right on to Harvest Lane, then a left on to Broadleaf Circle. We are
the sixth house on the right.
From 91 South:
Exit 38, stay right at the fork, then take a right at the end of the exit.
About 2+ miles take a left on Prospect Hill Road. About 1 mile take a right
on Harvest Lane, then the next left on Broadleaf Circle. We are the sixth house
on the right.
From Benidorm:
Rt 44 to 10-202, take a left onto 10-202. Take a Right onto 185 and go over
Talcott Mtn. Take a left on Rt 178 and follow into Bloomfield center.
Take a left onto 189 (Be careful, 189 bares right at a stop light.) Follow till
the end. Take a right onto 187 (189 goes left). Proceed past the Griffin
Office Center. At the stop light take a left onto Day Hill Road. Go
about 1.5 miles, you will pass a Credit Union on your right, take a left on to Prospect
Hill Road. When you come to a rotary (about 1 mile), go straight through it, and
take your next left on to Harvest Lane. Take another left on to Broadleaf Circle.
We are the sixth house on the right.
Parking:
There is a field across from our house, please park in the field as the road
in front of the house is kind of narrow.
9:00 am all rides depart.
11:00 - 12:30 Riders return. (Showers are available, please bring a towel.
We have a nice private outdoor shower too.)
12:30-Whenever you feel like leaving.
